On October 20, the 10th "FLTRP Cup" National English Writing Competition for Higher Vocational Colleges was held in Qingdao, sponsored by the Shandong Provincial Department of Education and Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press. Liu Xiaolin and Li Wenqing, the 2018 "3 + 2" special course of Heze Vocational College of Home Economics, have performed well and won the special prize and first prize of the public English group respectively. Among them, Liu Xiaolin will represent Shandong Province to Beijing to participate in the national finals in December.
It is reported that the "FLTRP Cup" National English Writing Competition for Higher Vocational Colleges is a public welfare competition for higher vocational students across the country. A total of 171 contestants from 75 colleges and universities in the province participated in this competition. The competition is divided into two categories: public English group and English professional group. The competition questions include text information writing questions and graphic information writing questions. Contestants need to complete the writing online within 120 minutes.
Since receiving the competition notice in early September, Mr. Bai Xiaojian from the English Teaching and Research Office of the Department of Early Education has guided the students in strict accordance with the requirements and content of the competition, and repeatedly strengthened the training. Hard work pays off, and the efforts of the students have been unanimously recognized by the judges and won the special prize and first prize in the public English group.
