Compared with using resin binder grinding wheel, the use of ceramic binder grinding wheel not only improves the processing efficiency but also reduces the cost under the same condition of ensuring the processing quality. However, ceramic binder grinding wheel has certain applicable conditions. With the promotion of the use of PCD tools, ceramic binder grinding wheel will play a greater role in the processing of PCD tools.
(3) The test shows that the grinding wheel is in the best condition when grinding at medium speed (18-25m/s). According to different usage conditions, in actual processing, the speed of about 20m/s is generally used for coarse and medium grinding, and the speed of 25m/s is used for fine grinding. The speed of 10m/s is used for grinding wheel dressing.
(4) Grinding wheel dressing is essential in grinding processing. Through dressing, the diamond grinding wheel is kept in good processing condition to ensure processing efficiency and processing quality. The handheld dressing method is simple and convenient, and can be carried out at any time during processing; the tool holder clamping dressing method is not as simple as the handheld method, but the dressing effect is better. In actual processing, the two methods should be combined.
