On June 24, Zhu Xuewen, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Bureau, met with Li Ameng, Assistant General Manager of China Water Conservancy and Hydropower Fifth Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd., and General Manager of East China Company, in Hefei, and held a discussion.
Zhu Xuewen welcomed the visit of Li Ameng and his party and introduced the general situation of our bureau. He said that Anhui Geology and Mining is familiar with the distribution of various mineral resources in the province, has strong engineering exploration and construction technical capabilities, and the two sides have a good foundation and broad space to establish a strategic cooperative relationship. Anhui Geology and Mining is willing to continue to maintain interactive exchanges with the five bureaus of hydropower, improve the cooperation mechanism, and steadily advance cooperation with closer contact and more efficient services within the framework of relevant laws and regulations. It is hoped that the two sides can establish a comprehensive cooperative relationship in the fields of industrial exploration, surveying and mapping, land disasters, mine restoration, and comprehensive development and utilization of urban underground space, and extend the cooperative industrial chain.
Li Amon said that with the continuous development of the five hydropower bureaus in multiple sectors and industries such as water conservancy and hydropower, infrastructure, water resources and environmental governance, international engineering, investment and financing, there is a strong demand for resources such as sand and gravel aggregates. It is expected that the two sides can establish a comprehensive strategic partnership as soon as possible based on this cooperation.
The two sides agreed that they will implement their intention to cooperate in the field of non-metallic minerals as soon as possible with specific projects, and actively prepare for the preliminary investigation and docking of strategic cooperation.
