Yesterday, the Provincial Food and Drug Administration informed the latest reports of adverse reaction events of medical apparatus. From January to February, the province reported 3414 cases of adverse reaction events, an increase of 26.87% over the same period in 2015, and 58.7 cases were reported by millions of people. Among adverse drug reaction events, new and serious reports accounted for 32.4%, of which 365 cases were serious reports, accounting for 10.69% of the total. 255 cases of adverse events of medical apparatus were reported in the province, an increase of 11.84% over the same period last year, and 4.38 cases were reported by millions of people. In recent years, the provincial food and drug administration department has regularly publicized adverse reaction events to the public, and increased the publicity of relevant safe drug use knowledge to enhance the public's awareness of safe drug use. According to the relevant person in charge of the Provincial Food and Drug Administration, with the gradual strengthening of adverse drug reaction monitoring in our province and the scientific evaluation of the risk-benefit ratio between adverse drug reactions and disease prevention and treatment, the number and quality of adverse reaction events collected by the regulatory authorities have been greatly improved.
