Other mainstream mobile phone chips have supported Beidou navigation and positioning
China's BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS) is China's self-developed global satellite navigation system. It is the third mature satellite navigation system after the US Global Position System (GPS) and Russia's GLONASS.
据环球时报报道,北斗信号的获取主要取决于手机处理器(SOC)中集成的定位芯片,目前大多SoC都能同时支持GPS、北斗和GlONASS。
In terms of Qualcomm models, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800, 600, and 400 series, among which the current high-end models of 820, 821, and 835 support Beidou, and the low-end models of 652, 650, 625, 436, and even older models are also supported.
MediaTek is similar. Currently, the common P10, P15, P20, and X20 all support receiving Beidou signals.
Huawei HiSilicon has long supported Beidou. Starting from the Kirin 930, the integrated Hi1101 four-in-one chip can simultaneously receive GPS, Beidou and GLonass signals.
In terms of mobile phone models, in addition to Apple, most models of mobile phones of Huawei, O & V, Xiaomi, OnePlus, Meizu, HTC, Nubia and other brands that use these SOCs support Beidou positioning.
