Stage by stage

How printable canvas is coated and proven

Every roll passes each stage in order — quality is checked where the work happens, not just at the exit.

01

Base fabric selection & inspection

Woven polyester, poly-cotton and pure cotton bases are inspected for weave regularity and weight before entering the line.

Check: weave & weight records
02

Pre-treatment & surface preparation

Bases are cleaned and prepared so coating layers anchor evenly across the full roll width.

Check: surface uniformity
03

Precision coating application

Ink-receptive layers are applied for water-based, latex, eco-solvent or UV printing, with coat weight monitored continuously.

Check: coat weight & coverage
04

Drying & curing control

Controlled temperature drying cures the coating without stressing the base, keeping rolls flat and crack-free.

Check: cure & flatness
05

Print testing & whiteness checks

Sample prints and whiteness readings confirm color response per batch before release.

Check: print & whiteness records
06

Slitting, rolling & export packing

Rolls are slit to width, wound on cores to your specification and packed for safe export transit.

Production details

Our Manufacturing Process

With more than a decade of coating experience, we run every step of canvas production in-house — from woven base fabric to packed, print-ready rolls.

1. Base Fabric Inspection

Woven polyester, poly-cotton and pure cotton bases are checked for weave regularity, weight and tension before they are approved for coating.

2. Precision Coating & Curing

Multiple coating layers are applied on controlled coating lines and cured at regulated temperatures, giving an even ink-receptive surface tuned for water-based, latex, eco-solvent and UV inks.

3. Whiteness & Print Testing

Every batch is measured for whiteness and opacity, then proofed with sample prints to confirm color gamut, ink loading and drying behaviour before release.

4. Slitting, Stretching & Packing

Jumbo rolls are slit to standard or custom widths, stretched canvas is assembled on kiln-dried bars, and everything is wrapped in moisture-barrier film and packed in reinforced export cartons.
