New Energy Forklift Warranty & Support: What to Expect
Discover what to expect from new energy forklift warranty and support. Learn about coverage, claims, extended plans, and 24/7 technical assistance.

What warranty coverage does your new energy forklift come with?
Our new energy forklifts are backed by a comprehensive standard warranty that covers the battery, motor, controller, and major structural components for up to 5 years or 10,000 operating hours, whichever comes first. This includes defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. The battery, being the heart of the electric forklift, is covered for a minimum of 3 years with a capacity retention guarantee—if the battery capacity drops below 80% within the warranty period, we will repair or replace it free of charge.
Additionally, the warranty covers the onboard charger, wiring harness, and key electronic components. Wear-and-tear items such as tires, forks, and hydraulic seals are excluded but can be covered under an extended maintenance plan. We also provide a detailed warranty certificate with your purchase, outlining all terms and conditions.

How do I initiate a warranty claim?
To start a warranty claim, contact our dedicated support team via phone, email, or the customer portal on our website. You will need to provide your forklift’s serial number, date of purchase, and a description of the issue. Our team will guide you through troubleshooting steps to confirm the problem qualifies for warranty coverage.
Once validated, we will arrange for a certified technician to visit your site or provide instructions for shipping the component to our service center. Most claims are processed within 48 hours, and we aim to complete repairs within 5 business days. For urgent issues, we offer expedited service to minimize downtime.

What kind of technical support is available?
We offer multi-channel technical support including phone, email, live chat, and a 24/7 online knowledge base. Our support team is staffed by trained engineers who specialize in new energy forklift systems. They can assist with troubleshooting, software updates, performance optimization, and remote diagnostics.
For complex issues, we can connect to your forklift’s telematics system remotely to analyze real-time data and identify root causes. We also provide on-site support for critical failures. All support is available in English, with additional language options upon request.
Do you offer extended warranty or maintenance plans?
Yes, we offer several extended warranty and maintenance plans tailored to your operational needs. Our most popular plan extends the standard warranty to 8 years and includes preventive maintenance visits every 6 months. Another option covers all wear-and-tear parts and labor, effectively turning your maintenance costs into a predictable monthly fee.
These plans can be purchased at the time of forklift acquisition or within the first year of ownership. They are designed to maximize uptime and control total cost of ownership. Contact our sales team for a customized quote based on your fleet size and usage intensity.
How long does it take to get replacement parts?
We maintain a global network of regional warehouses stocked with high-turnover parts such as batteries, controllers, motors, and sensors. Standard replacement parts are typically shipped within 24 hours and delivered within 2-5 business days depending on your location. For critical parts, we offer express shipping with delivery in 1-2 days.
Less common parts may require 5-10 business days for manufacturing or sourcing. We proactively monitor your forklift’s telemetry to predict part failures and pre-position parts before breakdowns occur, reducing wait times significantly.
Is remote monitoring included with the warranty?
Yes, all new energy forklifts come with a complimentary telematics system that provides remote monitoring for the first year. This system tracks battery health, usage patterns, error codes, and performance metrics. You can view real-time data and receive alerts via a web dashboard or mobile app.
Remote monitoring helps our support team diagnose issues proactively and schedule maintenance before failures happen. After the first year, you can continue the service for a nominal annual fee. This feature is included in all extended warranty plans at no extra cost.
What training do you provide for operators and maintenance staff?
We provide comprehensive training as part of the purchase package. For operators, we offer a 2-hour on-site session covering safe operation, charging procedures, and basic troubleshooting. For maintenance technicians, we provide a 2-day hands-on workshop that includes electrical system diagnostics, battery maintenance, and software calibration.
Training materials, including manuals and video tutorials, are available in your preferred language. We also offer annual refresher courses and advanced training for large fleet operators. All training is conducted by certified instructors with real-world field experience.
What is your response time for on-site service?
Our standard response time for on-site service is within 24 hours for warranty-covered issues. For critical breakdowns that halt production, we aim to have a technician on-site within 8 hours. Response times may vary based on your location and the availability of local service partners.
We have service centers in all major industrial regions and a network of trained third-party providers. In remote areas, we may use video guidance to resolve issues remotely or dispatch a technician from the nearest hub. Our goal is to minimize your downtime.
How do you handle software updates and upgrades?
Software updates for the forklift’s control system are released periodically to improve performance, add features, or fix bugs. These updates are pushed over-the-air (OTA) via the telematics system, so no manual intervention is needed. You will receive a notification when an update is available, and it can be installed during scheduled downtime.
Major upgrades, such as new battery management algorithms, may require a short on-site visit. These are included in the warranty for the first three years. After that, software upgrades are available under a subscription or per-upgrade fee.
Does the warranty cover damage from accidents or misuse?
The standard warranty does not cover damage resulting from accidents, improper operation, unauthorized modifications, or failure to follow maintenance guidelines. However, we offer optional accident protection plans that cover repair costs for collision damage, fork overloads, and other common mishaps.
If you have an incident, contact us immediately. We can assess the damage and recommend the most cost-effective repair path. For customers with accident coverage, repairs are typically covered with a small deductible.
