What the declaration covers

Every air hockey table we export to the EU and EEA is supplied with a Declaration of Conformity issued under the manufacturer's own name. The document names the model or series, the playfield size, the blower voltage and the directives the table is assessed against. It is signed by the person responsible for technical documentation and carries the place and date of issue.

Directives and standards applied

Tables are assessed against the Low Voltage Directive for the blower and power supply, the Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive for the scoring electronics and coin mechanism, and the Machinery Directive where the cabinet includes moving parts. Safety of the electrical assembly follows the household and similar appliance standard, with an additional assessment where the table is marketed for family use with children.

Technical file and retention

For each model we hold a technical file containing the circuit and wiring diagrams, a bill of materials for the blower and electronics, test records from the production bench, and the risk assessment for assembly and use. Files are retained for ten years after the last unit of a model ships, and a copy can be released to a buyer or to a market surveillance authority on request.

Ordering the documents with your shipment

The declaration is issued per model and per destination. Give us the model list, the destination country and the importer's legal name at order confirmation stage, and the signed declaration is emailed as a PDF together with the packing list. Where your market requires a notified body opinion or a local authorised representative, tell us at quotation stage so the schedule can allow for it.
