What the listing confirms

Air hockey tables built for the United States and Canada are tested against the UL standard for household and commercial amusement and gaming machines, with the electrical assembly assessed to the UL standard for household and similar appliances. The listing confirms the blower motor, power supply, wiring, fusing and protective earthing as they are actually built, not just as they are drawn.

cUL and dual-marked assemblies

Where a table ships to both countries, the electrical assembly is evaluated to the Canadian standard as well and carries a cUL or cULus mark. Component parts — the blower, the power supply and the scoring board — are sourced from suppliers whose own listings are current, and we keep the certificate copies in the technical file for each model.

What the importer should check

Check that the listing number on the rating label matches the model and the factory named on the certificate, that the input rating on the label matches the voltage and frequency of your market, and that the cord set and plug type are the ones approved for the destination. If your county or city adds an inspection requirement, the certificate and the test report are the two documents the inspector usually asks for.

Samples, reports and follow-up

A sample table can be shipped to your own test house before a volume order. Test reports, listing certificates and rating-label artwork are released with the order confirmation, and we notify buyers in writing before any change to the blower, power supply or wiring that affects the listing. Repeat orders reference the same file number so your paperwork stays consistent.
